Transnistria Raises Fines for Retailers

Yevgeny Shevchuk, President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR, Transnistria), signed the Law “On the Introduction of Amendments to the PMR Code of Administrative Offences” on 28 April. From now on, individuals, executives, and legal entities will be fined 680 to 3,000 PMR roubles for selling tobacco products to minors (earlier the fine was 170 to 2,550 PMR roubles)
