Russia Loses 10,000 Kiosks

A third of kiosks fail to survive the ban on selling tobacco

Over 10,000 kiosks were closed in Russia last year, according to a retail trade survey done by British American Tobacco Russia. The survey covered about 96% of all retail outlets in the country selling FMCG. Employees of the company visited 280,000 retail outlets in over 5,000 Russian cities and towns.
