Tobacco Companies Fall Out on a Grand Scale

They disagree over the notion of a minimum cigarette price

Philip Morris International (PMI) and JTI suggest that a minimum retail price (MRP) on cigarettes should be introduced in Russia. The companies believe that such a measure would contribute to the fight against illicit products that sell at 30-50 roubles a pack. Other cigarette manufacturers are strongly against the initiative of the market leaders.
